The obvious question is when did \/ does the Age of Aquarius begin? If you’ve watched Zeitgeist or read Astrologer blogs or were about in the 1960s then you will get a variety of answers and I am not even going to try and understand when it may have begun. All I do know is that the general consensus is that this new age doesn’t just appear from one year to the next, it happens over a period of a few hundred years. And with Aquarius being associated with freewill and individuality and is also the sign that is associated with technology then perhaps this new age has already started. There’s certainly been a mass global shake up over the last few years from climate issues being brought to the fore, to Trump as the US President to the current and ongoing global pandemic. All these current affairs have been shaking and waking people up, disturbing the status quo and making way for a new way of thinking and being. And with all this has been a lot of planetary changes. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t know anything about these huge topics or astrology but do have personal interest which piques my curiosity every now and again. And what got me interested most recently was the Great Conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter in the sign of Aquarius and how such an uncommon planetary transit just happens to come at an uncertain time in our lives. I live in the U.K. and we just happen to be one of the worse countries in Europe, if not the world for the Coronavirus. On top of that, we have just left Europe. This is huge for us and for the future of our country and our people that it makes me think there must be something more at play, something beyond us that is influencing these shake ups. Perhaps it sounds a little woo woo, and yes I agree, but I always look the reasons behind or beyond something happening, what is this trying to teach us? What are the lessons? Where do we grow from here? It’s exciting, frightening and dumbfounding all at the same time. The collective energy tells us where we are in the coping of it all and it constantly ebbs and flows from suffering to resolution. However, I digress! Back to the point, what is the Age of Aquarius and what does it even mean?
